Work for this co-op building included full replacement of the the existing roof with a new fully insulated and weathertight Kemper liquid membrane roofing system, asbestos abatement, repair and raising of existing parapet walls, and masonry repair / structural reinforcing at failing portions of the rear of the building. Careful waterproofing, drainage, and structural detailing were critical to the success of this technical project in a Landmarked district.
